RN-Manager - 6T - Medsurg unit at Samaritan Hospital- Fulltime

The Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily operations and throughput of surgery patients. The role would encompass:

  • Leadership accountabilities of interviewing, hiring, performance evaluations and performance management.

  • Managing staffing schedules to ensure adequate staffing level.

  • Ensuring staff compliance with hospital policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines,

  • Monitoring and nursing accountability of outcomes.

  • Work collaboratively with physicians on resolving issues and participate in committee meetings

  • Policy review and revisions.

  • Adherence to budget guidelines and compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Five plus years of experience in Medical Surgical

  • Critical care experience preferred

  • Previous lead or supervisory experience

Pay range : $48.50 - $64.70
