Job Summary:

Raytheon Missiles and Defense Operations Team has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Production Control Manager, leading the RFEI 801 Production Control Team, which is part of the Subsystems Make Center. This position will provide direct leadership and direction to multiple Production Control Leads. The successful candidate will report to the Subsystems Make Center Production Control Associate Director and will be part of the RFEI 801 Factory Leadership Team as well as the Subsystems Production Control Leadership Team.

This position is an onsite role.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Full leadership and management accountability regarding the performance on all aspects of production control as well as inventory management.

  • Working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems in a manufacturing environment and utilizing data-driven decision making to enable effective material and workforce forecasting.

  • Successful daily interaction with cross functional teams, programs, and business units to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives.

  • Developing credibility and influence while leveraging strong interpersonal skills; aligning the operations’ execution plan to meet critical customer deadlines with supply chain strategies and financial targets.

  • Achieving/exceeding goals using CORE and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position.

  • Foster a working environment that promotes safety, security, compliance, and quality while achieving overall customer requirements.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of ten (10) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience.

  • Supervisory or managerial experience.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated successful experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) knowledge and analytical skills

  • Knowledge of Production Control: Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Depot, Inventory Management

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in accordance with RMD values and behaviors.

  • Experience in Cross Functional support and management – quality, operations, engineering, and supply chain.

  • Superior communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)

  • Experience with Six Sigma/Lean/CORE processes, tools and applications.

  • Knowledge of existing RMD execution Systems (PRISM, SAP)

  • Budget Management

  • Problem solving abilities.

  • Team Facilitation

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
