Responsibilities

Perform basic patient monitoring activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

• Remain at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member.

• Assist in calming and/or reorienting patient in cases of agitation or confusion.

• Remove visible hazards and/or broken equipment from immediate environment and reports as appropriate.

• Record all observations.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

• Must be willing and able to "float" to our sister facilities located in Broken Arrow, Owasso and Sapulpa

• PRN Patient Attendants must be able to work 108 hours per 6 week period (9 shifts)

• Once hired, you must be able to attend our mandatory 1 week onboarding class. This class will be Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
