Job Title: Lead Systems Engineer

Location: Tysons, VA

Job Description: Perform modeling, simulation, and analysis of the performance, integrity and robustness of the design solutions. Collaborate with fabrication and logistics team to pursue continuous improvements opportunities. Research software solutions to advance M.C. Dean’s cross-discipline design and manufacturing practices that rely on model-based engineering and computer numerically controlled (CNC) manufacturing equipment. Develop detailed requirements informed by M.C. Dean’s processes, manufacturing environment, and industry best practices. Identify and evaluate industry solutions against the requirements and opportunities to ensure flow of critical information from design to manufacturing and installation. Work with CNC manufacturing equipment to configure standard production procedures and eliminate manual manipulation of design data. Lead collaboration with software development teams to define requirements and develop advanced integration and automation solutions to streamline design and manufacturing of electrical, mechanical, structural, and architectural components.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of experience as a Lead Systems Engineer or any related occupation
