Job Description Summary:

The Senior Director, Integration and Transformation will oversee the integration of all of Rocket’s acquisitions, as well as launch our operational excellence program, which will enable Rocket to unlock organic growth potential, achieve cost efficiencies, and operate with more agility.

This role will operate under the direction of Rocket’s Corporate Development and Strategic Initiatives teams, which are housed in the CFO’s organization, and will:

  • Lead the M&A integration function by building and managing a team of integration experts deployed on projects across the company. Drive integration from end-to-end, including integration due diligence, strategy, planning and execution, and partner closely with the deal, business, and functional leaders to create demonstrable value from M&A. In addition, serve directly as a core deal team lead on all large-scale acquisitions.

*Lead cross-functional, value-driving initiatives that require central strategy, ongoing management, alignment throughout the business, and tangible outcomes. Identify, in partnership with Rocket’s leadership, operational gaps to growth within Rocket, and drive the prioritization and solutioning strategy to account for Rocket’s capacity for change, the degree of investment required, as well as the people, processes, and systems involved.

*Communicate to Rocket’s executive team and beyond regarding milestones, targets, and progress, and transparent assessment of requirements and barriers to success.

*Establish and improve integration and operational excellence governance models, including project management principles and playbooks that can deliver consistent, high-quality results, as well as ownership and accountability across various teams.

Additional Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Understand the core drivers of an acquisition’s value proportion and effectively design and develop a program to deliver on that value with our executive leadership team.

  • Effectively partner with a broad range of business stakeholders at all levels of the organization and understand their organizational and business needs.Engage and steer external advisors, where needed, to maximize their contributions.

  • Lead strategic and operational initiatives to centrally manage, coordinate, track, report, and document all the actions taken.

  • Identify organizational barriers to progress, both tangible and intangible, and collaborate to create workable solutions and tighter alignment with key stakeholders.

  • Communicate to the leadership team regarding any areas of concern and opportunities for tighter alignment.

  • Continuously improve Rocket-wide M&A integration capabilities and skillsets.

  • Drive Rocket’s collaborative culture internally and act as an ambassador of our culture to prospective acquired companies’ management teams and other third parties.

Qualifications:

  • Over 12 years of experience leading strategic and operational initiatives, with focus on driving value from both M&A integration and operational excellence projects.

  • Ideal candidate would have a mix of leading such projects inside a global enterprise, as well as earlier experience as an integration and transformation management consultant. Deal experience and background must include global, large, complex, and/or strategic integrations and transformation projects.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally to solve complex problems, navigating stakeholders with differing viewpoints and priorities,

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills – demonstrates empathy and organizational awareness

  • Comfort with ambiguity, willingness to learn, roll up sleeves and engage in new projects

  • Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience with a technology or enterprise software company strongly preferred

  • MBA preferred but not required

The base salary range for this role is $185,086.00 - $231,358.00 /year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
