JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Office of Entrepreneurship & Commercialization (OEC) is actively seeking an intern for Summer 2024 to provide administrative support to various entrepreneurship programs and initiatives within the dynamic framework of Invent Penn State. Reporting directly to the Business Systems Analyst of the OEC, this part-time position encompasses a range of activities, including administrative support activities, program data collection, online research, and utilization of cloud-based tools such as Microsoft 365 Suite, Salesforce, and Workfront. The position requires in-person attendance for meetings and events on a flexible schedule for a total of 10-20 hours/week at $15/hour.

This position is for an administrative support and data visionary who is savvy, creative, and detail oriented to join our team to support the operations of the Eric J. Barron Innovation Hub facility as well as our Salesforce platform as you become a Salesforce Data Management Specialist. Within this role you would be responsible for collaborating with the OEC CRM Team to support the development, creation, and maintenance of contacts, accounts, dashboards and reports for the OEC that will help to support system metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity. No previous Salesforce or data management experience is required, just a desire to learn business skills and be coachable.
