Join a team that applies its technical expertise and knowledge to ensure products that are produced with high quality and efficiency. You will be the experienced technical professional with responsibility for product and process application. You will ensure product integrity manufacturing output and continuous improvements working with factory operations.
This role will:
Solve complex problems where analysis of a situation is required in order to meet the requirements of the customer.
Independently lead problem analysis to develop new process and procedures.
Partner with the product factory as the lead technical expert that supports continuous improvement
Cause chain analysis
Facilitates lean initiatives
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related technical field
5+ years’ experience in manufacturing engineering within aerospace or automotive, to include:
Experience with SAP and the Microsoft Suite of applications
Must be a US Citizen, due to contractual agreements
Multi-axis machining experience
Multi-axis programming experience (G-code and M-code)
Knowledge of Coordinate Measurement Systems/Machines
Knowledge of a broad range of fabrication equipment (vertical, horizontal, rotational, multi-axis)
Project Management experience
Lean & Continuous Improvement Team Leadership experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of six sigma tools
Track record of successful contributions to projects
Ability to partner with others on projects
