Resource Center for Independent Living Reimbursement Specialist in Utica, New York
Job Duties:The successful candidate will be expected to:Review incoming program reimbursement to ensure regulatory complianceMaintain an updated knowledgebase of program regulations and requirements pertaining to reimbursementsCommunicate with staff, participants, families, and brokers for necessary budget clarificationVerify reimbursements against budgets and determine fund availabilityEducation:College degree in accounting or related field is preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent is requiredRelevant experience may be considered in lieu of higher educationKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and database experience requiredBasic accounting and intermediate mathematics Strong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong customer service and computer skillsAbility to work independently with a diverse population and handle sensitive situations Benefits:37.5 hour work week, 7.5 hour work day, flexible work schedule menu to include the ability to work: a four-day work week, four-day work week, every other week, or a typical five-day work schedule16 annual vacation days, 12 annual sick days, and 13 annual paid holidays (now includes Eid-Al-Fitr and Yom Kippur)401K with up to 10% employer investmentHeavily subsidized health/vision/dental insuranceAdditional benefits availableTravel Required: No
