Aerotek Field Technician in Vacaville, California

Day to Day: Drive company truck from home to job site. Weekly list of jobs are given week prior. On average, minimum is 7 homes/day and 35 homes/ week. If the crew has done their job done correctly commissioner does not need a lot of skills to commission. All on Ipad. Connecting to the system and recognizing – having the system pick up the microinverters. There are 11 panels on roof. They should pick up 11 microinverters. See them. One monitoring has acknowledged all of those they are producing and actively working. Step by step. Screen shot by screen shot. 6 steps of commissioning. Final one placing serial number on map where they are at on roof.

Key Responsibilities: • Track installations and schedule commissioning’s for upcoming week • Provide required documentation of each commissioning • Schedule and host solar inspections (inspect installation prior to local inspector showing up for inspection to ensure system passes • Retrieve missing permits when requested • Perform customer service appointments and communicate to homeowners and Citadel Superintendents of issues • Coordinate commission of each system installed within one week of installation completion o Track and report on number of attempted commissioning weekly and provide to manager o Inspect each system during commissioning to ensure it will pass AHJ/utility inspections o Report back to Citadel Superintendent of inspections which will NOT pass AHJ/utility inspections • Coordinate AHJ/Utility inspections when required o Schedule and host inspections review system prior to inspector showing up to ensure inspection passes o Must be able to set up ladder and get on roof in necessary to trouble shoot o Report failed inspections to Citadel Superintendent so corrections can be made quickly o Submit completed signed off permits to Citadel Interconnection Team • Customer Service o Be on time to scheduled appointments. Communicate with customer if late, etc. o Ensure that expectations are met and communicated with customer so that customer understands what to expect if another visit is needed and follow up with customer until their system is operating o Report back to Citadel Customer Support team on all actions as well as Citadel Superintendent for any workmanship issues for closed loop learning • Support Field Operations o Communicate free time to Superintends when in their regions to see what you can do to assist them in daily operations
