THE SPANCRETE GROUP INC Manufacturing Engineer in VALDERS, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: ID: 2020-1371 The purpose of this position is to plan, direct and coordinate the manufacturing processes in a Precast Concrete facility. Responsibilities Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, documenting these methods with the development of Job Work instructions, and process routing. Training employees utilizing Job Work Instructions. Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements. Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook. Solid understanding of quality assurance standards. Positive attitude. Ability to read a tape measure and blue print. Proficient interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people verbally and in writing. Ability to maintain focus, objectivity and composure in a rapidly changing work environment. Prior experience dealing with various mix design concepts, preferably in a precast environment.
