Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Career Plus (CPH) Coordinator (FT, Varies) in Valdosta, Georgia

Responsible for coordinating the Career Plus (CPH) Program and assisting students in earning a high school diploma and college credentials at the same time. Responsible for promoting CPH to community leaders and potential students through presentations, meetings, and one-on-one sessions. Responsible for monitoring student performance in high school classes, postsecondary courses, and progress for those completing GED/HiSET tests.

**Position will involve day and evening hours and will require regular travel within the service area.

SUMMARY OF WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Equipment Used: Standard office equipment.
  • Working Conditions: Category III - No foreseen exposure to hazardous chemicals/pathogens. Probability of working beyond the normal shift, but not frequently. Periodic travel between major Wiregrass campuses and satellite sites.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Education or closely related field. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

In addition to meeting all other minimum qualifications, the highly desired candidate will possess one or more of the following: Experience in post-secondary Financial Aid, Admissions, or Advisement is a plus.

SALARY/BENEFITS

Salary is $47,000/yr. This position is full-time and includes standard State of GA benefits such as leave accrual, options for health and other supplemental benefits, and retirement. This position may qualify the successful candidate for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. []{style=""}
