Electrical/Mechanical Technician

Our client in Van Nuys is looking for an Electrical/Mechanical Technician to provide technical support to engineers in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, process improvement, or product development. If you meet the qualifications listed below, please Apply Now!

Responsibilities:

· Performs Analysis and tests.

· Develops and recommends procedures and methods and prepares manufacturing process sheets, technical documents, and reports.

· Performs technical evaluations of events to determine root causes; recommends corrective action.

· Uses schematics, diagrams, technical drawings, specifications, written and verbal descriptions, or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment, or systems.

Requirements:

· Experience: 3-6 years.

· Must have basic knowledge of aviation maintenance.

· Able to use a variety of hand tools, gauges, precision tools, micrometers, etc.

· Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills.

· Able to interpret maintenance manuals and diagrams.

· Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.

· Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.

· Must have basic computer skills.

Shifts are available from Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
