*This is a full-time traveling position and successful candidates will work a 21/9 rotation away from their home*
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide daily oversight of String, MST and/or Distribution Cable Teams in the field.
ALL Field Engineering oversight and updates on Construction progress.
ALL Resolutions in active Market whether delegating or individually resolving.
Splicing/Testing Coordination.
Fiber Locator oversight.
Assure that production always outpaces deadlines, adjusting staffing in the field as needed to fit priorities.
Procure tools and job-related items as needed.
Monitor associates daily team assignments and track overall clock-in/clock-out accuracy.
Weekly associate meetings and quarterly reviews.
Deliver coaching and/or corrective action to associates as needed, escalating issues to Manager when appropriate.
Assure that every OSP associate completes all periodic training modules in a timely fashion.
Report staffing and construction quality trends to Manager.
Coordinate with Warehouse personnel and Fiber Design team to assure accurate inventory and efficient scheduling of OSP workflow.
Submit all Daily Reports in a timely manner
Perform weekly Quality Checks on all completed work
Update all Smartsheets and verify with Local Manager Daily
Field Visit crews to insure Safe Practices
Assist with Training when applicable
Able to fill in for and continue duties of manager when necessary or required
Other duties as assigned.
