Leading the Continuous Improvement Process within the Quality Department and engaging the entire facility to ensure that the goals are met that continue to meet or exceed the Customer requirements and those of related stakeholders. To monitor the respect of the requirements according to ISO 9001 standard inside the organization. Responsible for the Quality Technician.

  1. Responsible for the internal and external claim handling process, including warranty (field) and supplier claims. Full investigation process, root cause analysis, raising corrective/preventative action reports (8D), participating and coordinating additional problem-solving activities. 2. Proactively leads and contributes to cost reduction and improvement initiatives. 3. Leads or participates in any activity or continuous improvement projects making use of the Parker tools such us Problem Solving, A3, Quality Star Point Team, HPT, etc. 4. To maintain and create Quality Standards, Work Instructions, Control Plans and PFMEA studies based on the continuous improvement activities 5. Supervise the PPAP/FAIR process 6. Link with customers regarding quality issues, audit actions, improvements, etc. when required. 7. Link and collaborate with Lean Facilitator, Engineering and Manufacturing to innovatively resolve quality issues and implement process improvements. 8. Supporting in the preparation and maintenance of a calibration system, including the day to day functioning of the calibration system compliant with all relevant procedures and instructions. 9. Perform quality and trend analysis and improvement activities and report-out to location management and to shopfloor. 10. Manage customer and third-party audits and subsequent actions. 11. Perform internal and external audits and related activities. 12. Develop, modify, apply the process/product and equipment statistical study plans. 13. Support new supplier product inspection process; when required identifying quality performance and trends. 14. Ability to work in team

Essential • Min of 3 years’ experience in a Quality function. • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system requirements. • Working knowledge and experience of APQP and PPAP • Experience in the effective use of problem resolution processes such as A3 or 8D and root cause analysis tools e.g. 5 why analysis, Ishikawa, cause & Effect, Design of experiments etc. • Proven experience and demonstrateable success in Continuous Improvement best practices Lean & Six Sigma, etc • Knowledge and experience in Quality Planning and quality Improvement i.e. creation, development and maintenance of P-FMEA’s, Control Plans, Process Capability Studies, Gage R&R/MSA, SPC, PPAP, ISIR etc • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings. • Internal Auditor qualifications. • Fluent English in speaking and writing. Desirable • 6 Sigma Green Belt certification or knowledge and experience of 6 sigma tools (MSA, DOE, etc) • Well-developed organisational, influencing and negotiating skills • Basic Understanding of Financials (Product costing) • Proven knowledge and experience of project managment practices Key competencies • Customer focused • Computer Literate (Excel, word, Power point, MS project, Visio, Minitab etc.) • Strong sense of urgency, highly motivated, results driven with a positive can-do attitude • Strong communication and presentation Skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of an organisation. • Team player • Excellent numerate and analytical skills • Change agent
