UINTAH CARE CENTER Activity Aide - Full-time in VERNAL, Utah
Aides assist the recreational activities supervisor, helping residents use equipment and supplies. Activities may include arts and crafts, outdoor activities, sports, music or drama. The aide may prepare equipment and ensure the safety of residents in the activity.
Activity aides may assist in leading the residents in group activities, such as an exercise class or art project.
The aide may assist residents to help to provide socialization, relaxation and exercise.
Must be able to relate professionally, positively and cooperatively with residents and staff.
Must be dependable.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
Must be able to lift, push, pull and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must be able to be on your feet for several hours at a time.
Schedule varies days, weekends and evenings.
