Compensation: $57.00 per hour, Paid Time off, Company 401k contributions, Health, dental, and vision insurance. Total Annual Compensation including benefits is $131,500.00

Senior BSA Data Visualization Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Finance and Reporting team. The Senior BSA will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying requirements, and designing solutions to support procurement Strategy, Operations, and initiatives. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and IT partners to drive the successful implementation of procurement technology transformation program and processes.
Senior BSA Data Visualization Key Responsibilities:
Lead requirements gathering sessions with procurement stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
Analyze and document current procurement processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Develop technical/nonfunctional requirements to facilitate technology selection RFP.
Develop comprehensive business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications for procurement system enhancements and projects.
Collaborate with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT architecture standards.
Partner with procurement stakeholders to define and prioritize project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
Provide subject matter expertise on procurement systems and processes, serving as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and project teams.
Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts, coordinating test plans, scripts, and execution to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Facilitate training and change management activities to support the adoption of new procurement systems and processes.
Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, proactively identifying and addressing potential roadblocks.
Senior BSA Data Visualization Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or related field.
8-10+ years' of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on IT and Data Visualization preferably in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare Space
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex procurement projects on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of finance and reporting including forecasting
Manager’s Overview
Not one particular project but in this will be in the forecasting and finance space within the commercial organization at a global research-based pharmaceutical company.
Looking for a very capable Senior BSA
Any forecasting or financing experience is desired
This role is a very typical BSA, uncover needs and clarify them, no architecting or engineering but also act in DevOps Agile way, Jira, immediate need on one product I now own, possible this role may go across a couple systems in finance, forecasting and reporting

What is the reporting structure, will they report directly to you? Initially me because I need to grow this team, in the future this role will morph into a Product owner. Think of me as Portfolio Manager and this BSA will roll up to Product Owner
Are they working with internal customers only? Yes, all internal depending. Power BI Dashboard and Data Visualization is what I need now to help with long range forecasting. Supported internally by forecasting group and stakeholders. This role interfaces with developers and engineers so they own the product roadmap and then reach out to all the groups that support along the roadmap. Very traditional BSA, surfacing or validating needs, getting into Jira and the Agile sprints and getting them developed.
What systems should this Senior BSA have? Experience with user stories and documenting them in Jira. They should be very familiar with Jira, user stories, sprints, Confluence for SLC. They need to know that and it is a hard requirement. And in regards to documentation, we look for how do you get the needs, how do you pre-solution for stakeholders, go back to stakeholders and document well enough so dev teams can work.
Are there any technical skills in particular the candidate should come with? It’s more important they understand the concepts of forecasting and financing. Then can communicate conceptually without being too technical. They don’t design or architect or tell dev team how to structure but should be able to articulate it almost agnostically of technology. Again, it’s Power BI, so if they understand that that is very valuable to this particular assignment. More logical and agnostically aside form Power BI.
