Athletic Trainer, Vestal Ortho United Health Services is seeking a Athletic Trainer to join our Vestal Outpatient Physical Therapy department at Vestal Ortho in Vestal, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

$21.80 - $32.60 per hour, depending on experience.

Overview

The UHS Athletic Trainer provides athletic training services and coverage for local colleges, high schools and sporting events. By assisting and collaborating with the Sports Medicine Team in various functions, we are able to create an exceptional experience while delivering comprehensive care to our athletic community.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or Masters of Science degree at an institution with National Athletic Training Association approved curriculum.

Preferred:

  • Experience as an ATC (Certified Athletic Trainer) in a college or high school setting.

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

  • National certification through the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC)

  • Licensed or license-eligible by New York State.

  • CPR certification within the first three months of employment.
