Job Description
Food Court Porter job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Clean the tables, counters, and seating areas of the food court
Sweep & mop floors as needed.
Wash & deliver trays to tenants
Clean food court washrooms as scheduled
Clean & empty compost trash & recycle stations as needed
Clean food court patio eating areas
Ensures proper care in the use of equipment and supplies.
Ensure work is complete and recorded in a timely manner in logbooks
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor
Understands and practices safety in all duties.
Handles equipment in a safe manner.
Reports any hazardous or unsafe situations and ensures necessary action is taken to correct problem.
Complies with good safety and housekeeping habits.
Qualifications
The principal duty of a FOOD COURT PORTER is to perform the day-to-day cleaning of the food court and patio area of the Bay Centre shopping mall in Victoria B.C. Canada
