The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Consultant specializing in Time and Labor, Absence and Payroll modules to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expertise in Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud implementations, focusing on Time and Labor, Absence and Payroll functionalities.

You will contribute independently &/or lead a team, ensuring the successful implementation, configuration, and customization of the Oracle HCM OTL & Absence modules to meet the WSP’s HR and Payroll needs. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including HR, Payroll, PPM, IT, and business leaders, to deliver effective solutions that align with business objectives and drive operational excellence.

What you can expect to do here:

  • Technical Leadership: Achieve business requirements, align with Global template and provide technical leadership and guidance to the team in the design, development and deployment of Oracle Global HCM solutions in time & labor, absence & payroll areas, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and standards.

  • System Configuration and Customization: Lead the configuration and customization of the Oracle Global HCM system to meet specific business requirements, including the design and implementation of custom reports, interfaces, and extensions.

  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of Oracle Global HCM projects, ensuring timely delivery, effective resource utilization, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Prepare, present and participate in Design & Business Committee meetings as required.

  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues related to the Oracle Global HCM system, working closely with the technical team and vendors to ensure smooth system performance and data integrity.

  • Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, customizations, and technical processes. Provide training and support to end-users and technical staff as needed.

  • System Upgrades and Enhancements: Stay informed about the latest Oracle HCM updates and releases, evaluate their impact on the organization, and lead the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements to improve system functionality and performance.

  • Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations, monitor system security measures, and implement necessary controls to safeguard sensitive HR data.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the Oracle Global HCM system, driving efficiency, scalability, and usability for the organization.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field with appropriate Oracle Cloud Implementation certifications. Master’s degree is a plus.

  • 15+ years’ experience in implementing, configuring, and customizing Oracle Global Time & Labor, Absence, Payroll & PPM modules. This should include at least 5 years of Oracle Fusion.

  • Proven leadership experience, including managing and mentoring technical teams in complex Global implementation projects.

  • Strong understanding of HR, PPM and Payroll business processes and practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in Oracle HCM data structures, APIs, and integrations.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
