Oracle PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Analyst in Canada

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Analyst who will be supporting Oracle customers on cloud platform. As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver Techno-Functional Support to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. A main point of contact for customers, you will facilitate customer relationships with Support and provide advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and called out issues. You will provide PeopleSoft Application Managed services by acting as Technical Analyst in PeopleSoft CS, FSCM and HCM Modules and assist in stabilizing the applications during & post release. Will diagnose and resolve PeopleSoft related issues to ensure the accuracy of business systems and participate in the development of system test plans and acceptance criteria. You will interact with business system users in this effort. The position focuses on PeopleSoft Campus Solution 9.2, FSCM and HCM Applications with PUM upgrade, Tools Upgrade, OCI Migration, DB upgrade, Application Upgrade, and Mergers.

Seeking people with good functional understanding in any of the PeopleSoft modules listed below:

Campus Solution : Student Financials, Records and Enrolment, Financial Aid, Campus Community, Recruiting and Admissions, Academic Advisement, Campus Self Service, and Contributor Relations.

FSCM : Asset Management, Expenses, Inventory, Supplier Contracts, Customer Contracts, Payables, General Ledger Projects, Grants, Billing, Receivables, Commitment Control, Treasury

HCM: Time and Labor, Absence Mgmt., NA/Global/US Payroll, ELM9.2, Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, MSS, ESS, Ben Admin, and Portal

This is a client facing role and you will have regular interactions with various client managers and business end-users. Needs flexibility to cover Pacific to Mountain time zone. Also needs ability to cover weekends during go-live upgrades, approximately once every six months.

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of Technical or Techno-Functional hands-on experience as a consultant or analyst working with PeopleSoft Campus 9.2 FSCM and HCM. Should have experience in a minimum of 5 modules.

  • Experience with designing and maintaining interfaces to external systems and vendors.

  • A strong understanding of standard development methodologies (Systems Development Lifecycle) in both maintenance and implementation organizations.

  • Skilled in gathering and documenting business requirements for systems enhancements, performing fit/gap analysis, and writing functional or technical specifications based on requirements.

  • Quality assurance, including the creation of testing scripts and test execution.

  • People Code, People Tools, Application Designer, Application Engine, AWE, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, BI Publisher.

  • PeopleSoft PUM upgrade and Tools upgrade a plus.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with healthcare industry.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated initiative and flexibility to meet deadlines and end user expectations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Team player with a Can-Do attitude.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

Canada: Hiring Range from $58,100 to $126,000 CAD per annum

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
