IHG Painter in Switzerland

Duties and Responsibilities

As Painter, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

  • Carries out painting works program.

  • Carries out painting maintenance requests & preventive maintenance programs.

  • Fills nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers using a caulking gun or a putty knife.

  • Prepares surfaces for painting by removing old paint using paint removers, scrapers, wire brushes or blowtorches.

  • Maintains personal tools and look after for general tools.

  • Keeps record of assignments and produce detailed work reports.

  • Maintains working area and make sure that all working areas always remain clean.

  • Uses personal safety wares for personal safety while on duty.

  • Attends meetings and training as required by supervisors.

  • Upkeeps Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.

  • Strictly adheres to LQA standards and guest comments.

  • Performs any additional tasks given to me by supervisor/management.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Painter, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

Education: To work as a painter, applicants are required to have a High School diploma or equivalent qualification

Knowledge: Having cognate experience in hotel or house painting and knowledge of remodeling is essential

Fluent in English; I understand that French is preferred.

Candidate must hold a EU passport to apply and / or Swiss citizenship
