Job Description

NetSuite is looking for a Software Developer to build and maintain its cloud Business Intelligence platform that provides our customers globally with fast and comprehensive reports they need to run their business.

Responsibilities

Join the Analytics team and work with your fellow application developers, QA engineers and product managers to influence the roadmap of our next generation Reporting architecture.

You will be responsible for analyzing, designing and implementing enhancements and new features, as well as maintaining the existing solution to perform in top condition.

At your daily job, you will apply your skills to improve and extend the various facets of NetSuite’s data output capabilities. From user-friendly visual search builder, through highly customizable financial reports to wide set of APIs and connectivity options that offer our customers immediate and meaningful view of their business, you will work with your team enjoying a large degree of freedom and responsibility.

You will also assist in resolving issues reported by customers and escalated through our technical support team.

The ideal candidate combines the engineering finesse with keen domain insight and is fully capable of driving projects independently.

Qualifications/Skills:

Our application stack combines Oracle database on the backend and Java on the application layer.

Knowledge of layered, object-oriented application design and architecture is required, ideally Java or similar such as C#/.NET, C++, Perl, Python, PHP, etc. Experience with procedural SQL, such as PL/SQL or T-SQL is considered a strong asset, as well as knowledge of data modelling and schema design.

Practical experience with ERP systems, creating reports, deploying reporting/BI solutions, developing and publishing dashboards or KPIs is considered a strong asset. Any experience with BI tools, such as Tableau, QlikView, MicroStrategy, Actuate, JasperReports, SQL Server Reporting Services, IBM Cognos, SAS, Crystal Reports is welcome.

With our focus on team work, good communication skills are essential both inside the technical team as well as when communicating with business stakeholders. You should be able to express yourself well in English.
