Red Hat Automation Engineer - Connectivity Link in Spain
Team & Role Description: The Red Hat Kuadrant QE is looking for an Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work on Red Hat Connectivity Link products and Kuadrant project and the related technologies, including Red Hat Openshift. You'll be required to interpret test requirements for Red Hat Connectivity Link customer use cases and develop innovative automated solutions for testing real-world customer workflows in test environments containing Red Hat Openshift, AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP.

What you will do:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites in py.test for Red Hat Connectivity Link on the Openshift compatible platform
Assure continued quality of existing features, such as DNSPolicy, TLSPolicy, AuthPolicy, RateLimitPolicy, also assess quality on newly developed and planned features for Red Hat Connectivity Link.
Explore, Identify, and document new bugs using Jira and Github issues
Closely collaborate with rest of engineering team located in Ireland, Spain, and Canada
What you will bring:
Intermediate experience in Python (pytest)
Intermediate knowledge of Git and GitHub (or similar)
Basic knowledge of container technologies
Solid debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Great written and verbal communication skills
Fluent English
Nice to have:
Basic knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP
Intermediate knowledge of Kubernetes or Red Hat Openshift
Intermediate Experience with CI/CD
Experience with leading or mentoring junior team members
Basic knowledge of Go
Experience with Linux
