We are looking for an experienced backend .NET Core (C#) software engineer. You will join the Consulting development Scrum team and work in an interdisciplinary team developing sophisticated Business Intelligence applications around our analytical database. Under supervision of your team leader, you will be working on the internal administration web services that supports Consulting’s vizualisation platform processes and make our delivery pipeline faster and more flexible. You have extended experience developing RESTful APIs, using sustainable coding practices (especially in the context of a team’s codebase), and writing performant software. Experience with full stack is a plus (MVC, Blazor, or NodeJS frameworks), as you will be able to contribute to the frontend aspects of the project.

Skills And Qualifications

• You have successful experience developing .NET Core applications in a Production environment, 3+ years.

• You have advanced knowledge of REST APIs, SQL and unit testing.

• Good spoken and written English

• Rigorous and meticulous: your contribution will directly affect production and attention to detail / sense of ownership is required.

• Team spirit is very important as you will be collaborating on the codebase.

• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities.

• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency, troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.

• Create security and data protection settings.

• Write technical documentation.

• Proficient understanding of Git.

• Being comfortable with the Agile work methodology (Scrum).

• Experience with twelve-factor app development, CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js, etc.).

• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache).
