Summary:

As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing local Work In Progress (WIP), capacity planning, controlling profitability and margins for all works including maintenance contracts and repairs, and reviewing and chasing pipeline to meet monthly and yearly forecast and target objectives. You will report to the Operations Manager and may have up to 10 direct reports.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise up to 10 Field Supervisors/Technicians.

• Forecast monthly revenue and margin to meet or exceed local plans.

• Plan capacity for current and future workloads.

• Ensure effective utilization of workforce to achieve 97% of available recoverable hours utilization metric.

• Review and approve service reports and conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality of work.

• Prepare quotations for repairs and other work arising from maintenance contract customers and negotiate to obtain such orders.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and scheduling engineers’ workload.

• Responsible for meeting invoice targets and ensuring timely completion of work.

• Collaborate closely with the managers and administrators.

• Balance responsibilities between customer-facing and engineer-facing tasks (50/50).

• Cover for the regional manager during holidays.

• Handle calls with engineers, demonstrating strong listening skills.

Requirements

Essential:

• Supervisory/Leadership skills.

• R&AC Technical competence.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience within a similar role in the HVAC industry.

• Basic P&L competence.

• Strong communication skills.

• Team player.

• Good organizational skills.

Desirable :

• Project Management.

• Excel Proficient.

• Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
