Oracle Senior Principal Consultant (Fusion Finance) in Hong Kong

Job Description

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within ERP product family.

The Oracle Fusion Finance Lead Consultant assists customers with implementing Oracle ERP solutions (Financials, Project Management, Risk Management and Compliance, Procurement, Enterprise Performance Management, and Analytics). The role requires heavy interaction with customers, implementation teams and partners.Functional Consultant will have implementation expertise spanning the full implementation cycle and be adept at implementing Oracle ERP functionality.

As a Finance Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for deliverables at every phase of the software implementation lifecycle such as:1. Preparing for, facilitating, and gaining agreement on global design2. Documenting the client’s as-is process flows and communicating best practices for the to-be optimal state3. Adapting the solution for localizations or business processes specific to a client’s business unit or operating location4. Documenting and gaining agreement on the client configuration5. Implementing and configuring ERP applications6. Developing a test strategy to validate the solution and confirming successful deployment7. Identifying risks or issues associated with assigned tasks; taking initiative to proactively alert project leadership of any risks or issues

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to gather and document customer business requirements

  • Ability to influence customers to modify current business practices, as required; Ability to manage scope and expectations with the customer

  • Work with customers to implement and configure ERP solution to support customer business requirements

  • Establish credibility and rapport with internal and external stakeholders; Ability to work within project teams and collaborate cross-departmentally

  • Work collaboratively within a project team both on and off customer sites

  • Analyze and design solutions for business requirements which may include complex configurations and/or technical components

  • Assist in delivering client facing workshops

  • Define detailed functional requirements

  • Work with technical teams to design, develop and test automations and integrations

  • Perform quality reviews of deliverables developed by other team members

  • Collaborate and communicate with Project Managers and colleagues to facilitate on timeand on budget project delivery

  • Train and mentor team members

  • Achieve or exceed billable utilization targets

  • Continue to increase product knowledge and pursue relevant certifications

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • BA/BSc degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Management, Computer Science;

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field a plus

  • 15+ years of software implementation and delivery experience. With Oracle Fusion / EBusinessSuite ERP.

  • Demonstrated solid understanding of Finance module.

  • Demonstrated success as a customer facing consultant; experience in translating customerbusiness requirements into workable software solutions

  • Experience with defining requirements for complex customizations and integrations

  • Ability to guide customer based on leading practices

  • Ability to work well in teams, as well as independently

  • Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • Proficiency in English, verbal and written

  • Critical thinker, problem solver, curious learner

  • Able to learn new products and technologies on the job quickly

  • Capable to work independently, take initiative with minimal supervision yet can participate as a team member with a willingness to help where needed

  • Able to travel as needed in support of assigned projects
