Job Summary
Will be responsible for performing software builds and packaging releases in an Agile, team-based setting. The duties of this position will include the design and development of builds, scripts, installation procedures, and the management of systems to facilitate the SDLC in a DevOps environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) concepts and automated
tools such as Docker, Jenkins, JIRA, Git,TFS.
Integrate DevSecOps tools and services (a code repository, an artifact repository, source code analyzer, security scanning, testing tools and an orchestrated integration and delivery platform) to enable automated application building, testing, securing and deployment.
Drive application security issues to a resolution.
Help teams during vulnerability mitigation effort
Ensure that product development incorporates security into software and infrastructure in design, implementation, and verification.
Responsible for design, development, maintenance, and review of build and deployment scripts
Assist software developers to resolve technical issues during the software development process.
Relentlessly pursues quality through multiple levels of automated tests, including but not limited to unit, API, End to End, and load.
Understands cloud managed services (AWS, Azure) and builds scalable and secure applications using them
Creates proof of concepts for new ideas that answer key questions of feasibility, desirability, and viability
Performs thorough code reviews that promote better understanding throughout the team
Trouble shoot, instrument and debug existing software resolving root causes of defective behavior
Work within an agile scrum team, contributing to an atmosphere of continuous improvement
Understands how to interpret database models and effectively collaborate with Database Engineers
Assist product owners in backlog grooming, story breakdown and story estimation
Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders throughout the organization
Document software changes for use by other engineers, quality assurance and documentation specialists
Master the technologies, languages, and practices used by the team and project assigned
Other duties as assigned
Experience
Education
BA/BS in Computer Science, Technology or a related field. Equivalent work experience may substitute for a degree.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with basic programming concepts and patterns
Experience with technologies and tools utilized by team and project assigned
Total of 3 experience with minimum of 1 year experience in DevSecOps activities
Skills/Knowledge
Must have experience in basic programming skills and proficient in one or more of the following languages (Specific languages needed will vary based on development department or project)
C#, SQL, JavaScript, Typescript, Python, shell scripting
Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Yarn, Nuget, NodeJS, Git/Gerrit.
Amazon Web Services (AWS), Lambda, S3, Cognito, Step Functions, SQS, IAM, Cloudwatch, Elasticache.
Additional desired skills:
o Single-Page Applications, Angular (v9), Ivy, RXJS, NGRX, HTML5, CSS/SASS, Web Components, Atomic Design
o Certification – AWS, Azure and Terraform (if any).
o Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevSecOps

· Ability to learn new development language quickly and apply that knowledge effectively
Work Environment/Physical Demands
While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the work day
This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a key board the majority of their work day
This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as in-coming and out-going communications via the computer and/ or mobile devices.
The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates
The work environment is an open room with other associates and noise from others will be part of the regular work day
