Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle Cerner platform team, will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Architect and Develop:

• Lead the end-to-end development of Ruby on Rails applications, ensuring dedication, responsiveness, and scalability.

• Design and implement elegant, reusable, and maintainable code structures.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of software engineers.

• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align development strategies with overall business goals.

Cloud Migration:

• Drive and complete cloud migration initiatives, ensuring seamless transitions to cloud-based infrastructures.

• Work closely with DevOps teams to optimize cloud resources, enhance performance, and ensure scalability.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay abreast of industry standard methodologies, emerging technologies, and trends in Ruby on Rails development and cloud computing.

• Implement continuous integration and delivery practices to streamline development workflows.

Code Review and Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency to coding standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.

• Implement and maintain testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and resilience of applications.
