Project Manager

Position Summary

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual ready to work within a Technical Operations group consisting of multi-discipline technical background professionals. The Project Manager will have demonstrated experience implementing technical operation project management processes with a proven track record of delivering complex technical operations projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Responsible for managing technical operations projects, meeting key project deliverables to support Amicus business critical programs and objectives.

· Project Planning: Developing detailed project plans that outline goals, timelines, and resources needed.

· Team Leadership: Leading, motivating, and managing project teams, ensuring effective collaboration among team members.

· Stakeholder Management: Communicating with stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations and keeping them informed of project progress and changes.

· Risk Management – Identifies and categorizes project risks according to impact on scope, budget and schedule. Generates action plans to mitigate risks.

· Budget Management: Overseeing the project budget, ensuring that the project is completed within the allocated financial resources.

· Problem Solving: Addressing and resolving issues that arise during the project lifecycle in a timely and effective manner.

· Contract and Vendor Management: Managing contracts and relationships with vendors and suppliers.

· Performance Monitoring: Monitoring and evaluating project performance against the plan, making adjustments as necessary to ensure project success.

· Reporting to management on project/schedule/cost issues.

Requirements

Educational Requirements

· BS/MS in in a related discipline (Engineering, Medical Devices Biotechnology etc.)

Professional Work Experience Requirements

· 5+ years in pharmaceutical and/or biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

· Biologics and/or small molecule expertise preferred.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

· Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and on budget.

Experience and Skills

· Strong communication skills and the ability to perform effectively in a fast paced, multi-faceted environment.

· Independent decision-making abilities with strong results orientation.

· Demonstrated history of executing technical operations projects.

· Possess professional attitude and a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Organizational and operational agility, able to operate at all levels of the organization and able to shift priorities successfully.

· Ability to manage projects involving multiple functional groups without direct reporting authority.

· Requires mature judgment in problem solving situations.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, Manage project actions to completion.

· Strong interpersonal skills and good communicator.

· Experience working with CMOs

Location:

· Preferred location is Dubin, Ireland (with a hybrid work approach)

Travel

· Travel to CMO’s will be required to meet business needs. Approx. 10% travel.
