You will work with an innovative technology. redefining how organizations protect their key applications and assets from advanced cyber threats.

As a Software Engineer , you will be responsible for

• Designing, developing and rolling out custom tools and integrations for Akamai's Guardicore Micro-segmentation product.

• Interacting with customers to gather and understand their requirements.

• Analyzing technical issues and proposing solutions.

• Learning and gaining in-depth experience in Micro-segmentation, zero trust network security.

• Owning solutions and collaborating with internal teams.

• Working closely with Professional Service teams to resolve customer issues.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 3-5 years of experience with Python.

• Have a Passion for working with customers, debugging, and solving complex problems.

• Have experience in the design and implementation of features as part of large-scale projects.

• Have experience working with and developing REST APIs.

• Have good verbal and written communication skills in English

Experience with the following items is an advantage:

• Django web framework.

• Configuration management automation (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation etc.)

• In-depth knowledge of Networking and Operating Systems

• Angular or other front-end development

• Service Now and other CMDB/IT administration tools

• Developing/deploying/operating security software or networking equipment
