Intel Client Chipsets Full Chip UPF Integration Engineer in Malaysia
Job Description
Understands the logic of design, register transfer level (RTL) coding, and simulation for an SoC design and integrates UPF (Unified Power Format) of IP blocks and subsystems into a full chip SoC or discrete component design.
Participates in the definition of power architecture and microarchitecture features of the block being designed.
Performs quality checks in various power design aspects involving RTL and UPF using static checkers, and digital design simulators.
Applies various strategies, tools, and methods to write UPF to meet power goals meeting front-end and structural requirements.
Reviews the verification plan and implementation to ensure design power features as related to UPF are verified correctly and resolves and implements corrective measures for failing RTL tests to ensure correctness of features.
Works with IP providers to integrate and validate IPs at the SoC level.
Drives quality assurance compliance for smooth IPSoC handoff.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Possess a degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent and/or experience with IP/SoC design or validation development.
Candidate with aspiration to develop career path in SoC Full Chip RTL and IEEE UPF integration and validation is encouraged to apply

Desirable Additional Qualifications: - Power Management - Power Delivery - Any industry standard device Or interface protocol. - Understanding of IEEE Unified Power Format (UPF) is a big plus
Exposure to design tools and methodologies is desirable - RTL model build and simulation - Verification with System Verilog (OVM/UVM) - Scripting (Python/Perl/Shell) - power-aware design and simulation - physical implementation with synthesis tools - HW/SW, digital/analog inter-operability

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
