You will provide responsive, professional and competent technical support for selected Clients from a wide portfolio of Customers based on BMC Patrol technology. You will also be responsible for keeping the infrastructure up to date and running, automating processes, troubleshooting monitoring related issues.

Your responsibilities:

• Work in universal monitoring team supporting both infrastructure and performance monitoring toolsets

• To administrate and maintain environment including tasks such as:

• Creating new rulesets, installation scripts, alerting groups and user accounts

• Setting overrides and custom configuration

• Action Scripts maintenance

• Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards (scalability)

• Troubleshooting toolset issues

Our requirements:

• Self-motivated, team player with great communication skills and business understanding

• Linux knowledge (at least LPIC 1 and CentOS 7)

• Knowledge of Windows Server 2012 and 2016

• At least B2 level of spoken and written English including technical vocabulary

• General understanding of networks, IPv4, IPv6, firewall and proxies

Good to have:

• Knowledge of automation tools (preferably UC4 or BladeLogic)

• Technical experience in Server Datacenter Monitoring (preferably BMC TrueSight, BMC Patrol Central, Patrol Configuration Manager or other tools for rulesets and variable creation)

• Scripting experience in Bash

• Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITSM tools (Incident, Service Request and Change Management activities)
