Job Responsibilities:

Continuous Improvement Framework

  • Support the CI team lead in driving innovation and a continuous improvement culture to achieve elevated efficiency and productivity across our teams in APAC

  • Assist in establishing framework to manage Continuous Improvements, from ideation, build business cases, prioritization to implementation and tracking outcomes

  • Create and maintain Continuous Improvement backlog, via interviewing, workshops, surveys and collate inputs from various sources within the Bank

  • Conduct high level assessment on ideas for prioritization, and identify Quick wins and high-value strategic initiatives

Strategic initiatives

  • Partnership with Project Management Office, Sponsors and other stakeholders to manage Strategic initiative deliveries ensuring completion on time and within budget

  • Liaise with branches in APAC, other regions and Head Office on various bank-wide strategic improvement initiatives

  • Drive decisions to ensure optimal solutions are based on both commercial and business requirements

“Quick wins” projects

  • Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to manage the end-to-end delivery of “Quick Wins”, with project plans and project milestone, from ideation to successful implementation, covering full operational readiness scope, risks and controls management, communication and training to all stakeholders, documentation such as Process Flow charts/SOPs, etc…

  • Build up a strong knowledge of the operating processes and procedures and keep up to date on MUFG Policy and Procedures to ensure that all implementations meet required standards

Management Reporting

  • Support in creating reporting and presentations to support updates and progress of Strategic initiative deliveries & Quick wins

  • Support processes and facilitate leadership level staff meetings

  • Track project outcomes against the KPIs and produce regular reports

Job Requirements

  • Degree qualified

  • Experience in banking, consulting or similar industries

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, operational management, project management or process improvements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in stakeholder management such as conflict resolution, consensus building skills, and an ability to build partnerships and influence beyond the immediate area of responsibility

  • Experience in driving process improvements by using tools such as process mapping and design, data analysis and automation

  • Familiar with Design thinking and Operational improvements methodologies and tools such as 6-sigma, Lean, Kaizen, etc

  • Experience in managing multiple complex initiative and competing priorities, completing milestones, and working toward multiple deadlines simultaneously

  • Familiar with corporate banking products such as corporate loans, payment, cash management or trade finance would be a plus
