IHG Human Resources Executive - InterContinental Singapore in Singapore
Duties and responsibilities
Financial returns:
Manage employee benefit administration (i.e. dental, insurance claims & follow ups)
Ensure timely and accuracy of all leave accruals
Assist with monthly payroll
People:
Ensure colleagues and managers are aware of HR policies and procedures
Ensure recruitment and selection is adhered to by IHG standards and compliant with the Employment Act.
Correct and timely placement of internal and external advertisements for operational positions using various portals including MyRecruit
Conduct interviews & reference checks for operational positions
Manage HR administration such as personnel files, contracts, letters, uniform fitting, application, renewal and cancellation of work passes
Adherence to new hire checklist – ensuring that all tools and equipment and necessary briefing is carried out
Ensure timely and accurate update of employee details into the HR system
Ensure timely and accurate update of Hotel’s organization chart
Work with department heads on employees’ probationary assessments and confirmation
Prepare letters for promotions, transfers, acceptance of resignation & employment certificates
Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback on reasons for turnover
Assist with employee relations issues in a confidential manner, including disciplinary and employee grievances.
Prepare month end reports such as Annual Leave balance, Headcount, Turnover
Assist to drive welfare and recreation activities for the colleagues
Manage casual labour recruitment, administration and onboarding
Ensure regular updates of Employee Heart of House
Maintenance of Employee Personal Files
Responsible business:
Support and implement IHG’s responsible business initiatives, developing programmes to support corporate social responsibility.
Supports and ensures 100% compliance in Brand Standards, Finance & HR Audits
Qualification and requirements
Diploma or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources
At least 1 year of experience in managing the full spectrum of HR
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Team player and excellent communication skills – written and spoken
Positive attitude
Flexible to respond to a range of different work situations
Knowledge of Employment Act will be advantageous
