IHG Watsu Therapist - Six Senses Kaplankaya in Turkey

Qualifications

  • Must possess a certified background in Watsu and/or Aquatic Massage.

  • Water safety certification.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Minimum 3 years or more work experience in Watsu and/or Aquatic Massage preferred.

  • Has a comprehensive knowledge of integrating “movement” along with soft tissue rehabilitation.

  • Has a cooperative and positive attitude, exercising reason.

  • Able to perform minimum 90 minutes maximum 500 minutes comprehensive Watsu or Aquatic Massage.

  • Interacts professionally and with sensitivity to the needs of the guests and co-workers.

  • Scheduling flexibility is required.

Scope

  • Provides guests with a thorough and knowledgeable professional Watsu/Aquatic Massage treatment, following Six Senses Standards.

  • Demonstrates respect, sensitivity and concern for guests’ needs.

  • Make sure treatment rooms have enough supplies at all times.

  • Request and collect the stock of supplies necessary for the treatment rooms.

  • Stock up the treatment rooms with the necessary supplies.

  • Set up the treatment rooms as per Six Senses Spas standards.

  • Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to guests at all times.

  • Serve the welcome drink to the guests when required.

  • Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the Spa and own treatment rooms.

  • Ensure all equipment is well maintained and in safe condition.

  • Handle guest complaints and record all guest comments.

  • Personally log all product recommendations.

  • Communicates any needs or concerns to management, i.e. ordering supplies.

  • Exercises dependability and willingness to work with schedule flexibility.

  • Be well groomed and presentable at all times and according to the Six Senses Spas grooming standards.

  • Keep a professional working manner at all times.

  • Show enthusiasm and motivation at all times.

  • Be polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the hotel is represented.
