Our Autonomous Vehicle client is looking for Bill of Materials Manager in San Carlos, CA who will be responsible for analyzing, editing and approving transactional data that drives the production and procurement of sensor and computer electronic assemblies. Description: BOM (Bill of Materials) and MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) Data Steward This individual will act as the interface to review Engineering BOM (EBOM), manufacturing BOM (MBOM), and verify the MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) actions are appropriate based on the BOM structure. Key tasks will include: Verifying all inputs of MRP, including demand, BOMs, and the associated orders in ERP (enterprise requirements planning). Demand: Responsible for the development and updating of Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) forecast models within our team and our interaction to other plants Coordinate with other departments regarding production goals and timelines. Reconcile demand compared to supply, and manually delete fulfilled planned independent requirements. This is manual for our current ERP phase. BOM & Part Masters: Maintain and manage BOM and ensure all references to that BOM, such as purchase orders, production orders, and stock transfer orders are using the correct part number. Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Design Engineering to ensure design and manufacturing BOMs are released on time to support lead time of sensors and computer hardware. Update/Maintain Material Master Data in SAP S4 MRP: Maintain reports to highlight and resolve BOM issues and MRP errors. Verify the required materials for the production plan match the BOM report on the impact of MRP errors to overall material supply. Conduct root cause analysis for data issues and perform corrective action plans to avoid reoccurrence Process: Analytical, problem-solving, and data skills with the ability to communicate details or summarize data trends. Evaluate data across multiple sources, resolve conflicting data, and manage cross-functional actions to closure.
