Location : Zug, Switzerland _ Summary:_ Under the supervision of the Director, Cocoa Sourcing & Risk Management, the individual will be required to maintain the overall Cocoa category strategy and execute key components. This position will also be responsible for financial delivery related to our physical cocoa book, supply continuity and the operational performance of our supply base and associated metrics. _ Summary of major duties:-_ * Develop and Maintain of the Category Sourcing Strategy To Drive Growth and Strategic Advantage* * Source physical cocoa requirements across Hershey that meet current and future business needs across Sustainable, Reliable and Affordable; * Manage the assessment, selection and development of suppliers to meet requirements and performance kpis; * Ensure appropriate agreements and contracts are in place, to provide the necessary safeguards, and manages against these contracts; * Research developing technologies, supply chain capacity/capabilities, and supply/demand challenges * Understand the key sustainability requirements relating to the category – work in close collaboration with the Sustainable Sourcing team to deliver these while enhancing transparency in the supply chain and ensuring appropriate due diligence on the key risks and mitigation activities. * Financial Delivery* * Develop risk management strategies through the use of forward contracts and supplier monitoring, in alignment with the company’s business plans. * Monitor and report on conditions/trends in the physical cocoa market to relevant colleagues, leadership as needed as well as relevant market information to other functional areas such as QRC, R&D, Plant Ops, Manufacturing Alliances. * Supply Continuity and Continuous Improvement* * Set out a long-term roadmap to ensure: Sourcing flexibility, Substitution opportunities and Feedstock flexibility. * Ensure appropriate Business Continuity Plans are in place. * Establish a strong network and lead the collaboration with Supply Chain , R&D, and other appropriate departments to: o Continuous improvement (i.e., cost savings, quality improvements, alternate supplier qualifications, supplier diversity) o Working capital improvement o Identify and lead innovation sourcing * Operational Excellence* Lead supplier relationships, drive supplier performance, monitor financial viability and work with relevant procurement colleagues to minimize supply disruptions to our plants, perform root cause analysis and develop/monitor supplier improvement plans.
