As Director of Ecommerce for Unilever Prestige, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and driving the online presence of our nine brands. Your primary focus will be on streamlining information flow across stakeholders, ensuring alignment with ecommerce fundamentals, and leveraging your expertise in financial models and technology to enhance direct-to-consumer performance.Strong preference for the incumbent in this position to reside on the west coast.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all ecommerce initiatives.

  • Collaborate with brand managers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand unique brand requirements and goals.

Ecommerce Fundamentals:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize online sales, customer experience, and conversion rates.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve ecommerce operations.

Financial Modeling:

  • Utilize your financial acumen to analyze ecommerce performance metrics, assess ROI, and contribute to the development of financial models to drive business decisions.

Technology Integration:

  • Understand and evaluate the technology stack used for ecommerce operations, making recommendations for enhancements or new implementations as needed.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of ecommerce platforms.

  • Go to for UX and site experience "smoke test" as an outside voice for the brands, deliver feedback on site experiences. (quizzes, check out, "what's next" for sites)

Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Performance:

  • Implement strategies to enhance direct-to-consumer sales, customer retention, and brand loyalty.

  • Analyze and optimize the customer journey, from website navigation to checkout, to maximize conversion rates.

Own Ecommerce Experience:

  • Leverage your previous experience running an ecommerce brand to provide practical insights and guidance to each brand within our portfolio.

  • Understand brand health and analytics day to day.

  • Be the 2nd in command for our smaller brands and their go-to for management & Strategy help

  • Share lessons learned and success stories to inspire innovation and growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Ecommerce Manager, preferably with a background in running your own ecommerce brand.

  • Strong understanding of ecommerce fundamentals, including online merchandising, user experience, and digital marketing.

  • Familiarity with financial modeling and the ability to analyze ecommerce performance metrics.

  • Technical proficiency with ecommerce platforms, CMS, and related technologies.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple brands and teams.

  • Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of [7] years of experience in ecommerce management, with a track record of success in driving online sales.
