Our client is seeking a qualified Financial Analyst to join their team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting financial analysis related to accounts receivable reporting, managing retail disputes, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Other responsibilities include:

  • Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of accounts receivable data to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies.

  • Manage and resolve retail disputes promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal impact on financial performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements aimed at streamlining credit, dispute, and collections processes.

  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management to facilitate decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

    Requirements

  • 3+ years in financial analysis, preferably with a focus on accounts receivable reporting, retail dispute management, and process improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP, and other relevant financial software/tools

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
