The Department of English in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, has a need for a full-time instructor or lecturer for the 2024-2025 academic year in literature or creative writing to teach courses and/or discussion sections. (a) graduate degree(s) (PhD or MFA required)

(b) teaching experience

(c) which of our courses you would be able to teach (a list of these courses can be found at

(d) the names of three referees who will be contacted by USC for a letter of reference.

The annual base salary range for this position is $76,000 - $81,770.
