Role and Responsibilities

As a PSTC Instructor, this role will be delivering a range of courses from PSTC suite utilising methods such as face-to-face, blended learning, eLearning, emulators and part-task trainers. You will have the chance to not only deliver training programs, but also track trainee progress, contribute to training development work on improvements to training delivery.

This role will be based at the Randwick Barracks, NSW.

The role we are offering you

  • Drive and improve business efficiency whilst also maintaining your own proficiencies

  • Support operation instruction to ensure successful training outcomes

  • Be the Subject Matter Expert in the range of courses that we deliver

  • Support and promote CAE in achieving strategic, tactical and operational goals

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Previous instructional experience, ideally within Navy/Defence (but not essential)

  • Experience as a Marine Technician or Electronics Technician - we will also consider other related backgrounds!

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills

Security requirements

As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
