Atrius Health Nurse Practitioner APRN (MNA)/Physician Assistant- Norwood and Dedham - 32 hours in United States

We currently have a full time, Nurse Practitioner (MNA)/Physician Assistant position supporting our OB-GYN department at our Norwood and Dedham locations (it will be split between practices). Provides well women, prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and all-inclusive gynecological care within the scope of his/her practice. Complements the Ob/Gyn MD in providing care to women with moderately complex issues, both acute and chronic. Serves as a patient educator. Provides rounding on patients in the hospital as determined by the needs of the practice and call group. We offer superior staffing resources and a fully integrated EMR system.

/Education: /Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Must be nationally certified as an FNP or WHNP, graduate from an accredited master's degree NP program and possess state licensure to practice as an APRN. Current license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Must possess and maintain, or be eligible for, Mass DPH Controlled Substance registration and DEA registration.

Physician Assistant (PA) - Must have national certification and Commonwealth of Massachusetts licensure as a Physician Assistant. NP/PA – Must possess and maintain, or be eligible for, Mass DPH Controlled Substance registration and DEA registration.

/Skills and Experience: /Minimum of 2 years of ambulatory OBYGN experience preferred.
