We are seeking a highly motivated candidate who wants to gain knowledge and develop lab skills in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology and genomics research. The candidate will work in the high-throughput NGS lab, which provides support for sequencing technology and develops genomics applications in support of the company's research community. In particular, the candidate will provide support for single cell molecular profiling and sequencing data generation. You will be involved in all aspects of sample preparation, sample processing, library generation, sequencing, in-process analytical QC as well as the use of automation. The candidate will receive full training on all protocols and workflows and supervision until confident in performing independent work by following standard protocols. In addition, you will be involved in supporting emerging single cell and NGS applications for a large scale, high-throughput genomics. By utilizing a variety of high-throughput genomics technologies, the candidate will participate in multidisciplinary efforts focused on the company’s drug discovery and development. Requirements: - B.Sc. degree in Biology or related discipline with academic or industry hands-on research experience is desired. Knowledge or skills in NGS technology is not required, however, valuable. - Ability to work in a team setting, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Exceptional work ethic and motivation to make substantial contributions to projects aimed to change patient’s therapies and lives for better.
