MPS Group Sales Executive Industrial Services in United States

MPS Group, Inc., a managed professional services provider, currently has a position open for a Sales Executive. Working remotely out of the Toronto, Ontario area, the Sales Executive is responsible for the full cycle of sales activity to increase and sustain revenue. The Sales Executive works in close partnership with the General Manager to grow sales with current customers, identify prospective customers, work with purchasing departments to negotiate customer agreements and contracts.

Essential Duties Include:

  • Thoroughly understand MPS Group service capabilities including strengths and weakness and apply knowledge during lead generation
  • Responsible for revenue growth in assigned business division
  • Maintains and builds relationships with existing automotive customers to drive customer loyalty
  • Leverage existing service offerings to expand into new industry segments such as pulp & paper, oil and gas, steel, food processing, aerospace, power generation amongst others
  • Communicate customer needs and expectations to senior management
  • Develop and deliver presentations, attend trade shows, develop marketing tools
  • Coordinate site visits and job site walk through
  • Participate in Estimate process. Develop bid/quote proposals in timely and accurate manner
  • Negotiate customer agreements and contracts
  • Maintain positive relationships with purchasing departments (customers), industry contacts, vendors, and internal staff
  • Be accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results
  • Provide business development strategies to anticipate and adjust to changing markets
  • Assist in the development and management of special processes and projects


  • 5 years of relevant industry experience in the previously mentioned markets with respect to industrial cleaning operations and maintenance solutions and wastewater treatment operations and management
  • Motivated to strategize, develop, sell and implement complete facility service programs that leverage scope of MPS Group's complimenting capabilities
  • Sales experience including extensive prospecting and problem solving as an active business partner with operations
  • Articulate, concise communicator with excellent presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing industries and the ability to maintain customer relationships in matrixed and/or complex hierarchical corporate environments
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
