Job Title: Senior Compensation Analyst

Reporting to: Nicole Ferguson

FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Summary:

The Senior Compensation Analyst will act as a key technical leader, tasked with the transformation of EquipmentShare’s compensation framework. The role focuses on leveraging advanced analytics and programmatic approaches to enhance the efficacy and compliance of compensation and benefit programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with leadership, driving the development and implementation of innovative compensation strategies.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical expert in People Analytics, primarily focusing on the automation and optimization of compensation structures through data-driven insights.

  • Collaborate with Compensation leaders to develop and refine our programmatic compensation approach, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Conduct complex analyses involving compensation practices, market pricing, pay equity, and incentive schemes, using advanced statistical tools and programming languages.

  • Support the design, implementation, and management of pay structures, policies, and programs including base pay, salary administration frameworks, job classifications, market pricing analysis, and performance-based incentive plans.

  • Influence key stakeholders in a fast-growing Equipment Rental and Software company through data-supported recommendations on compensation issues.

  • Ensure internal equity and compliance across all compensation initiatives through rigorous analysis and the application of best practices in compensation management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 4-6 years of experience in a compensation role with a strong emphasis on technical and analytical capabilities.

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and programmatic solutions in compensation.

  • Preferred experience with HRIS systems like Workday.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt flexibly to evolving business needs and project scopes.
