How You’ll Make an Impact
As the Identity Services Engineer - Technical Expert, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our organization’s security and access management through Single Sign-On (SSO) services. Your expertise will guide the integration of applications with various Identity Providers (IDPs), ensuring seamless and secure access for users. By collaborating closely with workforce, product, engineering, and operations teams, you will enable secure digital identity usage across our applications and infrastructure. Your innovative approach and deep understanding of identity management will position our organization as a leader in secure access solutions, driving efficiency and security across all services.

What you’ll bring with you:
Technical Expertise: You possess a strong understanding of SSO services, frameworks, and integration methods (SAML, OIDC, SCIM). Your hands-on experience with identity providers (Okta, Ping, Auth0, Entra) allows you to implement solutions effectively.
Collaboration Skills: You excel at working with cross-functional teams, ensuring that security protocols align with organizational needs while enhancing user access experiences. Your ability to communicate complex concepts clearly makes you a trusted partner in the organization.
Problem-Solving Mindset: You approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset, capable of assessing and resolving identity access issues promptly to maintain service integrity.
Risk Management Knowledge: You have a solid understanding of risk exposure and security governance, allowing you to evaluate and recommend improvements in identity access controls and compliance measures.
Automation Proficiency: You are proficient in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and familiar with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible), enabling you to streamline processes and improve operational efficiencies.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years in identity services and application security, with hands-on experience in SSO and identity provider integrations.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with public cloud SaaS solutions and identity access management systems, demonstrating your ability to adapt to evolving technologies.
Technical Skills: Proficient in directory services administration (Windows, Azure AD), SSO, MFA, and role-based access control (RBAC).
Regulatory Understanding: Knowledge of compliance frameworks (PCI, SOX, HIPAA) and security best practices that ensure organizational alignment with industry standards.
Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to articulate ideas clearly and engage stakeholders effectively.
