In this position you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing workpapers related to US Federal and US State income tax compliance. The compliance forms are prepared by a third party. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation and review of workpapers used in the US groups’ financial reporting under ASC 740. The position requires a tax professional with US income tax compliance and ASC 740 experience.

How You'll Create Impact:

  • Prepare and review workpapers associated with US federal income tax returns, quarterly estimates, and extensions.

  • Prepare key aspects of ASC 740 global income tax provision calculations for quarterly and annual SEC filings including but not limited to GAAP & Non-GAAP effective tax rate, ASC 718 calculations, tax reserves related to uncertain tax positions (ASC 740-10), valuation allowance, forecast of the AETR, cash tax rate, accounts reconciliation, quarterly analytics, journal entries, footnote disclosures, etc.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance tax process efficiency and effectiveness, including tax automation and data analysis initiatives.

  • Review and prepare federal, state, and local income tax filings workpapers.

  • Assist in maintaining SOX processes and tax reporting calendars to maintain fluid communication between accounting, tax compliance, and tax accounting functions.

  • Monitor and research federal, state, and local income tax legislative changes to ensure compliance within a rapidly changing global tax environment.

  • Research and document corporate income tax and tax accounting issues.

  • Support M&A activity, as needed, including tax due diligence and post-close integration.

  • Assist in Identifying and executing tax planning opportunities.

  • Engage and collaborate with external advisors where appropriate.

Compensation Range:

  • $94,000 - $115,720

  • The compensation for this position may vary depending on location.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities:

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or finance; Master’s in taxation and/or CPA preferred.

  • 3+ years of tax/accounting experience with a public accounting firm and/or a tax department of a multi-national corporation which involved complex entity structures and tax issues.

  • Possess attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills with ability to drive tasks to completion autonomously.

  • The position requires a tax professional with US income tax compliance and ASC 740 experience.

Travel Expectations:

  • 10%
