ManTech Technical Training Content Developer in United States

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Training Content Developer to join our team. This is a remote opportunity with occasional travel as necessary.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Works independently and as part of a team designing, developing, and delivering engaging technical training materials and resources in support of digital transformation projects

  • Collaborates with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and learning objectives

  • Designs and develops engaging and interactive training content, including e-learning modules, presentations, manuals, and multimedia resources

  • Utilizes authoring tools and software to create and customize training materials that align with instructional strategies and adult learning principles

  • Integrates multimedia elements, such as graphics, animations, videos, and simulations, to enhance the effectiveness of training content

  • Conducts thorough quality assurance checks on developed content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to organizational standards

  • Evaluates training effectiveness and gather feedback from participants to identify areas for improvement and make necessary revisions

  • Identifies and offers improvements and enhancements to the training and development processes, analyses, and methodologies

  • Stays informed about industry trends, best practices, and innovations in instructional design and content development

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and scenario design

  • Experience in learning design and content development, with demonstrable experience in writing effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts that support learning objectives

  • Experience of delivering training to a range of learner audiences

  • Experience of designing and developing e-learning solutions and software tools

  • Working knowledge in MS Office Suite (especially PowerPoint)

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentational)

  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external subject matter experts and other stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) desired

  • Certified Technical Trainer Certification desired

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain public trust clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $76,400-$127,300. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
