Description

The Licensing & Compliance Manager will own prioritizing licensing needs to support a broad set of service installations, responsible for acquiring and maintaining licenses for a region as needed. This person will hold one or more General Contractor (GC) licenses and maintain knowledge of state and municipal jurisdictions that they oversee. They will perform compliance audits and to acquire additional GC licensing as needed.

Key job responsibilities

  • Research state and regional legal requirements for sub-contracting home services and installations.

  • Complete all local and legal requirements to acquire and maintain sub-contracting licensing standards within a region of the US.

  • Contribute and enable service program support across multiple product categories and regions, including the scoping, design, data collection, data analysis, recommendations and presenting licensing requirement results to senior management.

  • Up to 50% travel required.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Must currently hold at least one state general contractor license to sub-contract installation services

  • NASCLA (National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agency) Certification and/or ICC (International Code Council) Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience

  • 2+ years of experience sub-contracting home installation services

  • Hold current general contractor licensing in multiple regions within US

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
