Adecco is hiring immediately for an experienced BUYER / PURCHASING AGENT with a local client in WACO, TX ! Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below:

· Pay: $27-$35/ HR based on experience

· Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday

Essential Duties:

· Order Processing: Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all relevant details are captured.

· Vendor Communication: Maintain regular communication with vendors to track order status, resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery.

· Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, collaborate with internal teams to prevent shortages, and optimize stock levels.

· Expediting: Identify potential delays and expedite orders to meet project deadlines or operational needs.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and other procurement-related documents.

· Collaboration: Work closely with the procurement team, suppliers, and internal departments to streamline the procurement process.

· Problem Resolution: Proactively address and resolve any issues related to order discrepancies, quality concerns, or delivery delays.

· Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and product availability to make informed procurement decisions.

· Cost Negotiation: Assist in negotiating favorable terms, discounts, and payment arrangements with suppliers.

· Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

· Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related role.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

· Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office Suite.

· Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

· Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management principles.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $35.00 per hour
